He liked Spokane so much he even convinced his parents to make the move out.
Before joining Demars Financial Group, Richard founded ModRE, a modular construction company focused on developing affordable housing. Through that venture, he secured $4 million in investor commitments for a 36-unit apartment development. He also built a financial education platform, creating content on alternative investments, risk management, and portfolio strategies that reached over 2.5 million views. His independent research has been featured in Bloomberg. Richard holds a Series 65 investment license and is currently working toward the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.
Richard and his wife Emma have been a team since Latin class in high school; they both went on to attend Gonzaga and were married at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on campus. Today they've built their life together in Spokane, where Emma works as an academic advisor at Gonzaga. When they're not working, you can find them battling it out over strategy games or being bossed around by their cats, Mei and Minnie.
